I'm Conner, a fly fisherman based in Nashville, Tennessee. I've been wading tailwaters long enough to know that the difference between a good day and a wasted drive is usually a phone call to the dam that nobody has time to make.
TailwaterAlerts started as a personal tool for the Caney Fork. I was tired of showing up to blown-out flows or missing fishable windows because I didn't know a release schedule had changed. I built something to solve that problem, it worked, and other anglers started asking about it.
Now it covers 27 rivers across TVA, SWPA, and USACE systems โ and the whole thing runs automatically so you can spend less time checking flow charts and more time on the water.
When I'm not fishing I'm usually at the tying bench, which is probably where I should be right now.
